Really, _I'm_ going to have to be the one to explain this one? ok...

The colours [yes, am a Canuck] chosen to sell pretty well anything come in and out of season, just like in fashion.

Livingston was published in 2001 by Routledge in Great Britain.

Hodgman was published in 2005 by Penguin in the USA.

Two [probable?] forces at work here:

1. The marketing guy at Routledge in Great Britain got canned for his unhealthily strong opinions of putting orange and blue together, and was eventually hired by Penguin in USA.

2. Everyone knows that the USA is exactly 4 years behind Great Britain in the fashion world. "Time takes time." [The Library Policeman - Steve King]
