Of course, those in the future will prolly think the same of us. Can present technology save us from stupidity as perceived from the future? Sure, that's a lazily rhetorical question, but I think it's high time we had answers. It must have been difficult to avoid the promise of the Soul-Blending Telegraphs over the years, mostly because they sound so freakin' cool. Were I at a 19th century carnival or World's Fair or what have you, and the barker's pushing a Soul-Blending Telegraph, well damn, I would sell the farm for a ride on one of those.
