    You know Sorkin’s been talking about his Farnsworth story for the better part of a decade, right? It comes up all over his other work, Farnsworth gets an explicit shout out in SPORTS NIGHT, got killed as a movie development thing twice I think…

    Hey yeah, I do remember the Farnsworth mention in Sports Night.

    I think you know this already, but I should probably clarify for the benefit of others: “You’re stealing my bit” is kind of a catch phrase around here. I was not seriously suggesting that Aaron Sorkin stole the idea for writing a play about Farnsworth from a post on my LiveJournal.

    And for the further edification of those who need it, you ironically nicked that catchphrase from Krusty the Clown.

    I still think you should sue Sorkin, though — not for swiping your idea, but for Studio 60 sucking.
