This got me thinking of the “1972 Summit Series/Phil Esposito tinkering with the bug under the carpet/releasing the chandelier below” story http://www.snopes.com/embarrass/accident/bugrug.asp , which I’ve just [disappointedly] learned to be an urban myth.
